- I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I lived there for 18 years and moved to Portland, Oregon to attend The Art Institute of Portland. I am getting a BS in Design Management. I want to work as an account executive in the Advertising Industry. I have taken course work that has taught me about branding, marketing, campaigning, design studies, market research, public relations, copywriting, and basic graphic design skills. Recently I have started realizing the potential for advertising to change into a more effective and transparent realm with the applications that are resulting from Web 2.0. At school I stay involved. I am the President of STAC, The Student Action Committee, Vice President of BrashCreative a student-run creative agency, and participate in the Honors Society. I have a mild interest in politics and would like to someday combine my interest for politics with the skills I have learned from studying advertising.
